Avatar was created by the fertile mind of James Cameron, who also directed this massive epic. The special effects were years in the making and well worth the wait. The colors and depth of detail in this film will astound your senses and suspend your sense of disbelief. The story is the battle between good and evil with a Mother Earth vibe, and will cause you to become enthralled in this clash of cultures.

The back story is that a large corporation has designs to take over Pandora from the locals because this mineral is worth tons of money. This corporation has set up a bunch of scientists to work with the locals on a moon called Pandora. The locals are twelve foot tall and are blue with bones much like rubber, so they are very hardy. The scientists have developed Avatars, which are a blend of Na’vi and human dna. The Avatars can be inhabited by the scientists by a mind meld technique.

Enter Jake Sully, Sam Worthington(Terminator Salvation), a Marine vet who has lost his legs in the service. He undertakes the six year voyage to Pandora in hopes of regaining legs through the Avatar program. The head of the program is Dr. Grace Augustine, Sigourney Weaver( Alien Series) who is tough and unimpressed by Jake. The base is run by Colonel Miles Quaritch, Stephen Lang (The Men Who Stare At Goats), who is a hard core Marine who eats bullets for breakfast. The Colonel would rather just shoot the locals, The Na’vi, and be done with it. Nice guy.

Jake loves his new body and relishes not only legs but the sheer agility of his Avatar. While on a scouting mission Jake become separated from the group and is rescued by the Na’vi chief’s daughter, Neytiri. The chief and his wife decide to kill Jake and order Neytiri to teach him their ways. She is not thrilled because she thinks he’s a dolt. The Na’vi believe all life on the planet is connected from the beasts, bugs, to the plants etc. and the life source of their world. They live in the Hometree, which is as tall as a mountain. Neytiri teaches Jake all the mystical ways of the Na’vi and their rights of passage. Jake must pass tests from riding huge horses to capturing a Banshee, a very large dragon like creature which he then learns to ride. The visual effects will blow you away and you will feel like your in a very personal thrill ride as Jake experiences riding the Banshee.

Colonel Quaritch is using all this information in his quest to conquer the Na’vi. Jake begins to feel guilty about passing on the information as he has enchanted with the whole experience. Jake passes his rites and is taken to the Tree of Souls which is a sacred place. Jake tells Neytiri he has fallen in love with her and she in turn loves him. They declare they are married and make love.

Well, as you can guess, things take a turn for the worse, and the Colonel attacks the Hometree and Jake tries to talk the Na’vi into leaving. This does not go well, and Jake is now branded a traitor. The Colonel finds out that Jake is siding with Na’vi and literally pulls the plug on the Avatar program. Meanwhile the Na’vi are getting slaughtered and the Hometree is destroyed. Jake and DR. Augustine are now outcasts to both sides in the conflict.

Jake decides to side with the Na’vi and captures the king of the Banshee’s, Toruk. He flies into the Na’vi camp and they are beyond impressed. He gives an impassioned speech and asks the Na’vi to gather all the tribes of Pandora to repel the invaders. Dr. Augustine and a few scientists as well as Trudy, Michelle Rodriguez(Fast and Furious) a gun ship pilot steal her gun ship and join the Na’vi. They take their battle to the Floating Mountains of Pandora.

Originally the football shirt was quite ordinary, buy with the onset of professionalism it has been made to guarantee the maximum amount of satisfaction to the players. The modern day football players wear shirts made of polyester mesh with the rather special quality that they do not trap the body heat and the sweat of the players in the same manner as the shirts made of natural fibers do.

And now that many companies are sponsoring the more famous teams, the fronts of those football shirts house the logos of those sponsors, which results in a significant level of income for that sponsoring house. Some competitions like the famous Premier League require players to wear patches on their sleeves which depict the logo of the competition.

The number of the player is mostly printed on the shirt’s back. Originally the players were given a number serially from 1 to 11 which corresponded to their playing position, but, in professional games, this numbering has generally been superseded by squad numbering. Numbers are allocated to each player in a squad. It has been noted that many players are superstitious and they prefer to have a particular number.

These numbers are said to be lucky numbers by the players. Argentina’s Diego Maradona is one such example and his preferred number is 10. Similarly different players of different countries are shown to have certain affinity to these numbers.

The colors of the football shirts are strongly individual and hence at once recognizable as belonging to a particular team or a club. Generally these colors correspond with the national flag colors, but there are a few exceptions where the choice of the football shirt’s colors is dictated by some other factor.

In 1975, the Leeds United club changed from their traditional blue and gold kit to an all white kit which could be sold to the crowd in the form of replica kits. This set a pattern for other clubs also to gain a huge amount of revenue by selling the replica kits of their club’s official football shirt.

The design of these football shirts are driven today by the fact that the fans should look good when wearing them. Thus, these football shirts are acting as style statements with increasingly complex designs and color combinations incorporated on them. Recently, in 1996, the team Manchester United introduced a notorious grey kit visualizing that it would look good when worn along with jeans. But, later on it was abandoned because the manager Alex Ferguson said that the reason that their team lost was because the players could not see each other during the game.

It is important to note that an avatar is supposed to capture your essence or in other words what you are all about. However, an avatar for a website can sometimes be nothing more than a representation of that website. For example, if your website is about the stock market then you will want to have an avatar that conveys that message. So a well dressed person who speaks the language would suffice where an avatar that is dressed like a skater dude and is speaking in slang would not.

For that reason the first thing to decide before you set out to create your avatar is to know what kind of avatar you want. Do you want a mythical creature, a real looking person in two dimensional from, or a real looking person in three dimensional form? You may even want a three dimensional image of yourself to be used as the avatar for your website.

Next you must determine what it is you want your avatar to accomplish. Do you want your avatar to lead the visitors to where they want to go or do you simply want to have an avatar to provide a certain level of entertainment value? If you do want your avatar to speak do you want your avatar to have a generic voice or your own recorded voice?

All of these questions must be answered before you set out to create your alter ego avatar as it will determine what type of avatar building website you will work with. Many avatar building websites offer to let you create an avatar for your website for free use but the applications will of course be limited. If you want to have a state of the art avatar that is in three dimension and is speaking with your recorded voice, then you can expect to pay a bit of money to get it.
